Vyopta Incorporated, the industry leader in video and unified collaboration (UC) analytics, announced an increase to their Series A funding from Austin-based AVX Partners from $5 million to $6 million. In addition, Vyopta added two new executive team members, Chad Savoy as VP of Sales and Bret Hern as VP of Customer Success.
Vyopta simplifies how enterprises monitor and maximize value from their video and UC networks. Over 80 large enterprises including the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs,Chevron, and Stanford University use Vyopta’s vAnalytics software to improve video collaboration at their organizations. Chad Savoy joins Vyopta as the VP of Sales with a wealth of experience developing and scaling high-performance sales teams ranging from startups to publicly traded firms. Most recently, Chad was the VP of sales at Datadog, the leading SaaS-based monitoring platform for cloud applications, where he helped triple revenue in the last year. Earlier in his career, he was the VP of North American Sales at Solarwinds where he helped increase revenue more than 500%.
