With companies and organizations of all sizes operating for more than a year under remote work conditions for the majority of their workforce, the value provided by Vyopta’s monitoring and analytics to enable UC and collaboration has become clearer than ever. That value was recently confirmed industry wide with the announcement that Frost & Sullivan has given Vyopta its 2021 Global Customer Value Leadership Award for helping workplaces optimize workplace collaboration with its single-pane-of-glass view into UC usage.
Reliability and security are more important than ever in the age of explosive growth in unified communications tools since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Frost & Sullivan, which advises investors, business leaders and government officials on economic changes, conducted a comprehensive analysis of the UC performance management market and selected Vyopta for one of its 2021 Best Practices awards.
“Vyopta partners with industry‐leading cloud services vendors like Zoom, Microsoft, Cisco, Google, Pexip and BlueJeans, among others, to provide its customers the flexibility to monitor UC deployments of any size and complexity, and give them the confidence to build, support, and manage a collaboration technology environment that best meets their needs,” said Nick Baugh, a Best Practices research analyst for Frost & Sullivan.
The award analysis found that Vyopta excels in many of the major criteria that are crucial in the UC and collaboration space, and that it benefits from strategic integrations with major UC and workspace vendors, enhancing the overall customer experience by improving collaboration technology performance, reducing inefficient conference room usage, and reducing costs.
Innovation, disruption key Frost & Sullivan considerations
Frost & Sullivan makes its evaluations based on three strategic imperatives, taking into account:
- Disruptive technologies that are reshaping the world post-Covid-19, with an imperative to focus on feature differentiation, platform reliability, security, scalability and extensibility.
- The impact of transformative Mega Trends such as an aging population, the growth of flexible work arrangements and instant gratification technologies. With up to 30 percent of knowledge workers working from home several days a week, remote work allows hiring flexibility and the growth of micro jobs.
- New business models, such as Gen Z pushing for increased digitization and disruption, as well as the growth in cloud services and Internet of things creating new opportunity frontiers.
Vyopta was also praised by Frost & Sullivan for its track record of giving its customers deep visibility and capturing insights to help them fully leverage their UC investments, increase utilization of meetings and meeting rooms, and improve employee productivity.
Companies navigating the pandemic are facing a greater need for information technology departments to track usage trends, understand the user experience, and measure migration and ROIs while also keeping IT and UC department headcounts mostly level as usage has grown exponentially. Similarly, as the need for meetings and meeting rooms grows in offices, IT and facilities departments are teaming up to design modern meeting spaces that promote spontaneous collaboration and innovation.
Vyopta’s room monitoring capabilities using sensors in already-installed endpoints in the office help with planning the large-scale return to work that is hoped to begin in late 2021.
Paired with its ability to monitor more than 20 billion minutes of calls and video meetings annually over its entire user base, Vyopta offers a 360 degree view and coverage of hybrid UC environments through its unique multi‐modal platform that helps its clients understand voice and video deployments and make data‐driven decisions to manage UC systems and meeting spaces more efficiently.
“Vyopta can transform collaboration experiences with its best‐in‐class services focused on improving workspace collaboration and UC environments by fusing collaboration performance management and workspace insights, giving it a competitive advantage over peers,” said Roopam Jain, ICT industry director for Frost & Sullivan.
