Below is the transcript to the power of user tagging in Vyopta’s CPM Suite with Matt Stevenson. Watch it here.
Hey everybody, Matt Stevenson from Vyopta here, and today I’d like to talk about how we can help you do more with your data using our user tagging feature. OEM tools often offer some basic analytics around your calls and meetings, but often you need more than just the basics to make critical decisions for your company. Of course, the data is important. But what we want to get to is actionable data that allows you to see deeply what’s going on in terms of your calls and meetings and conference spaces, and to be able to make decisions based on that data. While some OEM tools offer some basic tagging features they really don’t let you get to the call- and meeting-level data.
And while Vyopta gives you numbers and graphs, we don’t just give you that. We are a data processing tool that allows you to take the data and view it in ways that is relevant to you.
Let’s take a look at a few examples. When it comes to tagging, it’s completely up to you in how you want to categorize things. Some basics might include location tags, which can look at country, region, state, province, where you can go down to the building level or maybe even the floor level.
We can look at department or business unit or division. Customers that have multiple domains can look at those domains and the calls that are happening across each one. We can look at things like cost center when it comes to specific use cases. Maybe it’s an organization that wants to understand how many calls are happening by department, and maybe what departments are using the specific use cases. Maybe it’s in those domains and the calls that are happening across each. We can look at things like cost center when it comes to specific use cases.
Maybe it’s an organization that wants to understand how many calls are happening by department, and maybe what departments are using what specific tools and endpoints. We could talk about how we’ve helped health care organizations understand usage by hospital division, broken down by domain or, going further, which meetings are happening across each domain and which of those meetings are experiencing issues to help identify problems and keep sites running optimally. Or we can talk about financial organizations that need to see calls by billing department for billback or capacity planning.
The list goes on and on. The options are truly open to you and what is relevant to your business as every business runs differently. We can help you look at the data that is specific and relevant to you, and this is just one of the many ways Vyopta can help you and your organization do more with your data.
