We’re looking forward to another exciting Team Polycom event this week. Last year we had the opportunity to demonstrate our ad hoc video engagement solution vAccess on the exhibition floor, but this year we’re taking a different approach. This year it is all about listening.
The breakout sessions, keynotes, and demos exhibition floor will hopefully help us get the full experience of some of Polycom’s exciting new video conferencing technologies. Last year Polycom raised the bar for room systems and desktop collaboration with two major product releases and updates to the RealPresence® platform:
The Polycom® RealPresence Trio™ is a room system with powerful three-part collaboration capabilities: voice, video and content – and smooth interoperability with Skype for Business.
The Polycom® RealPresence Centro™ conference room endpoint is defining and “rearranging” the conference room with 360-degree video collaboration and camera voice tracking capabilities.
As far as the show goes, we’re looking forward to a great lineup of keynote speakers and discussions.
Peter Leav, Polycom President and CEO, will kick off the event with his talk on the Workplace of the Future that is creating incredible new opportunities for business growth in the collaboration space.
Ashan Willy, Senior VP of Worldwide Systems Engineering and Product Management, and Michael Frendo, Executive VP of Engineering will dive into some of the products that were introduced to the Polycom® RealPresence® Platform last year and the positive impact these technologies will have on SMBs, huddle rooms, increasing user adoption, expanding service delivery options via the Cloud, software-defined infrastructure and more.
Ira Weinstein, Senior Analyst & Partner, Wainhouse Research, will join Polycom’s Chris Jones, President Americas Sales and WW Partner Organization, on stage to talk about what customers are saying now and what the future holds for collaboration in the changing workplace.
For those of you that are attending this year, don’t be shy! Reach out to me in the comments, via email or however you prefer so we can get some coffee and discuss how Polycom has impacted our business.
We have some exciting new Polycom specific features that we’ve added to our multi-vendor collaboration analytics product vAnalytics. Check out the product tour to see what I’m talking about.
If you’re not attending – bummer. But hey, you can definitely look forward to a thorough recap of Team Polycom 2016 at the end of the week right here on the blog where I’ll summarize the key takeaways.
