Enterprise Connect 2019: What to Expect

Enterprise Connect 2019: What to Expect

For communications and collaboration decision makers, Enterprise Connect is the haven for finding the resources to ensure organizations can maximize their investments in communications, collaboration systems, services, apps and networks. Naturally, since Vyopta provides data-driven insights to optimize collaboration, we’re big proponents of attending this annual conference and are looking forward to the big things Enterprise Connect 2019 is bound to offer.

This year, it’s not just the allure of DisneyWorld and the magic of Harry Potter at Universal Studios that has us clamoring for tickets to Orlando, Florida. Enterprise Connect will take place at the Gaylord Palms from March 18-21 and we’re eager to see the unveiling of new products, services, and new players to the communications and collaboration space. With passes starting at $1995, pass holders get the opportunity to attend the highly-anticipated expo hall, Enterprise Connect Theater, conference session, keynotes and the appreciation party. Not a bad way to spend three days. For years, we’ve gathered to hear from thought leaders and users what is driving the demand in unified communications and this year will no doubt ring more of the same.

Enterprise Connect Speaker Lineup

Each year, Enterprise Connect brings together some of the biggest heavy hitters in the UC and collaboration space to discuss trends and upcoming pivots that the aforementioned trends are projecting. This year these main keynotes are poised to take center stage:

  • Lori Wright, General Manager, Microsoft 365
  • Joe Park, Chief Digital Architect and VP, Associate Digital Experience, Walmart
  • Pasquale DeMaio, General Manager, Amazon Connect
  • Amy Chang, SVP, Collaboration Technology Group, Cisco
  • Rany Ng, Director of Product Management, Google

That’s a strong lineup, and it doesn’t even include the featured Fireside Chat speakers which include Harry Moseley from Zoom, Dave Sipes from RingCentral and George Hu from Twilio. Hearing the perspectives of the current state of collaboration and communications from these companies gives attendees great insight into the challenges that the industry is facing and the shifts that are happening as a result.

Women in Communications

A new offering this year is the Women in Communications Luncheon on Monday, March 18th. A luncheon specifically designed to engage conversation around the issues women communications professionals face in the primarily male-dominated tech industry. With three of the five featured keynotes being women, there’s a shift happening and we’re excited to see that Enterprise Connect is elevating the topic into a luncheon designed to spark conversation and make connections throughout the industry.

A Conference within a Conference

Perhaps one of the most exciting things to come for Enterprise Connect 2019 is the Communications & Collaboration 2022 experience. Touted as a conference within a conference, these sessions will be dedicated into the emerging technologies that promise to shape the next wave of strategy and tactics that will no doubt change the way leading enterprises will do business come 2022. At Vyopta, we know big things are on the horizon for communications and collaboration, and the integration of IoT, voice recognition and other AI technologies becoming more and more prevalent, it’s exciting to see what’s actually on the not-so-distant horizon. This isn’t a brainstorming or dream session of what will hopefully one day happen, no, this is a hard-hitting this is what will be taking place and transform unified communications and collaboration as we know it. We’re excited for the unveiling of innovation and intrigued by the mystery that surrounds what’s to come.

Enterprise Connect is four days of intensive programming – offering 60 sessions of technology topics. Vyopta joins the ranks of other leaders in the space such as analyst, consultants, other technology experts and thought leaders and some end users.
